Footsteps Bangladesh has helped 400 low-income families and 157 members of the transgender and hijra community across Khulna, Sylhet, Tangail and Mymensingh since the beginning of the lock down. We urge you to come forward in providing food rations and/or hygiene kits for either a full family or a single member of the transgender and hijra community.
Similarly, we are trying to raise funds for 1300 women stuck in Daulatdia brothel – plus their 400 children out of which 35 are infants/newborns. They last received supplies on March 28th and that barely covered 500 people. This is an ardent request to our supporters and well wishers to come forward and help these women, and their children during this emergency.
