“Empowering Communities. Changing Livelihoods.”
Project Trishna is a social venture by Footsteps Bangladesh which empowers communities through safe water access. The project utilizes Corporate Social Responsibility and donor funds to implement safe water systems in marginalized communities suffering from water shortage and contamination. The project then works with communities to establish community funding models which will sustain the system without donor support in the long run.
We have three main areas of focus:
- Safe Water for Children in Schools
- Safe Water for pedestrians in public spaces
- Safe water for workers in garment factories
Cholo Shobai has built a platform that enables nonprofits, organizations, entrepreneurs and businesses receive financial support from anyone.
